Welcome to Brecon Badminton Club
Brecon Badminton Club The club has been playing competitive badminton in the Swindon area for over 20 years; we still keep the club's traditional sense of 'friendly but competitive' values. We have around thirty members.
Brecon Badminton Club has a mixture of social and league playing members.
We run 2 mixed teams 2 men's teams 2 ladies teams & 1 Veterans teams.
We play on three courts at The Dorcan Recreation Centre St Pauls Drive, the centre has free parking, showering and changing facilities.
Club and match night are Tuesday & Friday 7.00 – 10.00pm
We play throughout the year September - September
The difference between us and some other clubs are:
- We are not a match-only club, normally lots of people attend our club night.
- We run our club All Year Round including through the summer.
- We always Welcome guests and new members
- We have 2 UKCC Level 2 coaches and 2 level 1 coaches to help all members.
Brecon Badminton Club is a friendly club. Some new members have describes us as "One of the friendliest clubs they have come across". Our members are all ages from 15 to over 60. We like to think that we're a welcoming group of people, friendly with an edge of competitiveness.
